McKinley Elementary STEM Lab

Our space has continued to evolve over the past few years. The major components of the lab include:
  • Lab tables & stools (that are easily moveable/flexible) for students to collaboratively plan, build and work.
  • "Happy Trash"-organized boxes & bins that house sorted, recycled "trash" for students to create with.
  • Various types of robots & 3D printers, for students to learn coding & execute learning in a tangible way.
  • iPads & Chromebooks used to document and reflect on learning, as creation tools, and to run various programs, applications, and web-based platforms (including our district's G Suite).
